Managing Your Hair

In order to achieve the maximum lifespan of your extensions, proper maintenance is required. Follow the instructions below to learn how to care for your Glam Luxe Extensions.

Can I straighten the curly or wavy textures?

Absolutely all of our textures straighten very well but the curl pattern may not revert back as tight.

Can the weft be cut?

Yes. Our wefts are reinforced and made by a machine. They can be cut without unraveling. However, we do not suggest cutting wefts.

Does this hair shed?

Any hair that's been manufactured to be stitched onto a weft experiences minimum shedding.

Minimum shedding meaning the hair doesn't have a noticeable or drastic decrease in it's density or volume. However, proper maintenance is required.

How much hair will I need?

Our suggestions vary based on lengths. See the chart below:

  • 14" to 16" - 2 bundles
or more
  • 18" to 24" - 3 bundles
or more
  • 26" to 30" - 4 bundles or more
  • 30" or more - 5 bundles
or more

How much does each bundle weigh?

Each bundle weighs between 3.2 to 3.5 ounces

Will each weft be the same length?

Our virgin hair is first weighed at 3.2 to 3.5 ounces, then hand sewn onto a weft. Due to this, each bundle produced will somewhat vary.

Does the hair look and feel natural?

Most definitely! Our high quality extensions and variety in textures makes for a seamless, undetectable installation.

Can I color this hair?

Yes! Our hair is 100% unprocessed virgin human hair.
